Four Seasons Home Services

I recently discovered that Four Seasons also has a Home Service Division. After dealing with two independent contractors, both of whom gave me the run a round and then blew me off, it was a nice surprise to discover Four Seasons Home Services.

Five years ago my basement got some water damage after we were out of power for a week. We did the normal cleanup and everything appeared to be fine. My basement had paneling on the walls, drop ceiling and tile on the floor. In January of this year we noticed that an interior wall separating the laundry area from the rest of the basement was starting to grow mold. My brother took the wall down which in turn brought down the ceiling and lights. I now had a complete mess on my hands and could not find a contractor to help me. Fate stepped in and my hot water tank died and I needed a new one. I knew from my friends that Four Seasons was the place to call. When they came to give me an estimate I happened to show them the condition of my basement and discovered they could help me fix it.

When Aaron, from the Home Services Division, came out to have a look at my basement, he did something no other contractor did, he asked me what my plans were for the house and then he made a suggestion on how best to proceed. Since we don’t use the basement as anything other than a basement he suggested bring it back to a basement with some style, like a dropped down ceiling and florescent lighting. I loved his idea and we went from there. Within a week I had men in my basement working; they completely stripped the basement down to the cement walls and ripped out tile. They covered my hard wood floors in my hallway leading out to the garage so they would not damage them. I was amazed and not only how quickly things were progressing but how efficient and clean they kept things. The workers were professional and very pleasant to deal with, they answered all my questions. If they ran into trouble they walked me through it and made suggestions on repairs. Things went so smoothly I extended their stay by having them do some other repairs I needed done in my kitchen, adding a railing outside my back door and had them replace my window well covers.

I am so happy with the end result of all the work they did. The basement has not looked this good since we moved in.
